How can I convert an analog camera into a digital one? or how can I make a digital camera?

  • I have an analog camera it's an old east germany PRACTICA and I want to convert it into a digital camera. I want some information about how to use a CCD and what do I realy need to do the job?

    This is a wild idea. Analog cameras imprint the inverted / reflected image on the negatives. The negatives have the negative color schemes which is then printed on photo paper in positive. If you can connect memory device to your analog camera that will convert the picture on the negative into a digital image and save that - then you have a digital camera! I think it can be done but it will be a big unwieldy gadget. Lol. But you'd be a lot better off buying a new digicam or a camphone. Start saving!

You can convert an anlagoe camera into a digital one. the only thing you can do is take your pictures on your practica, buy a scanner and convert the print into digital format. The quality will be massively reduced. Maybe you will just have to save up and buy a digital SLR form Nikon, Canon, Olympus etc. There are some good entry level models available, who will give you better results then your Practica
