Can I fix broken pixels?

Today I found my camera underneath the couch. When I turned it on I noticed that at the top left part of the screen there was a white square, with a couple black marks. My mom said the pixels are broken and that I couldn't replace the camera. So what I'm asking is there any way I could some how fix the pixels? Like maybe switch the screen, or something? Or do I just have to tough it out? Please help. I have a Kodak AF 3X...
