Is there a website for Polaroid?

Polaroid 600 or paperweight?

  • I just got home from the thrift store where I purchased a Polaroid 600 series camera... I was really stupid I guess because I assumed that it was a battery issue when the thing wouldn't turn on. I got it home and after a thorough internet detective search and inspection of the device itself, I don't see a battery slot or anything. It's a fairly new looking camera and again, I guess I was stupid but I assumed that since it's new that it isn't broken. It has a new package of film and it doesn't look busted but it won't turn on- the green light isn't on and whenever a press the "take picture" button nothing happens. I've already checked the Polaroid website for a user guide and found one but it mentions nothing at all. The Polaroid hotline is closed, so does anyone have any tips on how to make this stupid thing work or did I just waste $7.00?

    The battery is in the film, Fear not. Eventually there will be no film for this camera, but for now you can shoot to your hearts (or wallets) content
