Yes you can via USB!!! If you go to the sony support site & look up your model number. The online manual will tell you how to set it up.

If it has the connections you can which it would need to in order for you to capture video. You can use a TV card to capture video.

sure... you need a capture card that can change it V-VIDEO into a form that you can input. There are several solutions... not the least is PLEXTOR

Yes and No. I also have a Sony Digital 8. And as the other person said you can do it via USB cable. But the problem that I found out was, the camera will turn off on it's own in a matter of minutes. Rendering it not very useful. Tried it with the power cord hooked up and could not find anyway to fix this problem. If you find a way, let me know!
