How do I transfer pictures from Kodak EasyShare to My Pics?

Why can't I get my Kodak Easyshare C340 camera to transfer pictures to my computer?

  • I downloaded the Easyshare software from the Kodak website but the computer still does not recognize the camera when it is connected to the computer. I have reinstalled the software a couple of times but still no luck. Also, sent messages to Kodak but they don't seem to really care. Can anyone out there help us? PLEASE!!!

    Blaze, depending on what operating system you have installed on your computer might be the problem. Xp would probably reognize new hardware right away from the USB port. An older OS program such as win98 might not.

I think it may be a 'platform' issue, like your previous replier has pointed out. I have just purchased this model, and loving the quality. I guess because it's been 3 months since your post you may have sorted the problem. I will look into it more when I get home.
