Bike rack for Toyota Rav4 2010 for loading the rear side not roof toop?

I am interested in buying Toyota Rav4 2010 and I want to carry my mt bikes. But I prefer to using trailer hitch with bike rack instead of roof top loading.The dealer said "trailer hitch is after market". But I wonder if a trailer hitch really can go with Rav4 2010 since the extra tire is attached to the rear door. Can you advice if it's ok for me to purchase Rav4 2010 to carry my bikes with a trailer hitch and bike rack?
