Is Van Staal worth buying?

We are thinking of buying a van. what do you suggest?

  • we have checked all the stats on various makes and models but we would surely appreciate hearing the opinions of van owners. what are you currently driving? what make, model, and year is your vehicle? what do you like and dislike about your van? what problems have you had with it? would you buy the same make again? if not what would you buy? what is the safest make in your opinion? what is the best color? [fun question - i'm thinking cherry red] we have our own ideas but thought it would be interesting to get the opinions and reactions of those of you who drive one. do the fold down seats in your van really fold totally flat into the floor and are they easy to fold away? if the seats fold down is there enough room to sleep in it? if i haven't asked a pertinent question but you have info/ideas for us, please feel free to let us know. please as an owner of a van give me your honest opinions and suggestions! all help appreciated! have a great day everyone!

Toyota makes a good van like what your wanting, and they are also dependable, dodge also makes a nice one now, either one would make you a good vehicle, what you need to do is go out and look and see what all is out there right now,the market is flooded with new and used vehicles,so finding one isn't very hard to do,good luck on it .

Narrow it down to a few and then go rent each one for a weekend and drive them. Buy the one you like the most.

Have you checked out the 2006 and up Toyota's Sienna yet? they're nice inside and out. Cherry red would look good on it as well, splurge a little and get the Limited . Any one would take this van, you can't go wrong with this. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/746610

I say go with the Toyota Sienna in LE or XLE trim. Very reliable vans and nice riding too. These look good in cherry red (Toyota calls it something else I believe). Maintenance is low and it has enough power to be satisfying to drive. Remember that this is based on the Toyota Camry/Lexus ES330 so expect it to be quieter than other minivans as well. Yes, it cost a littlethan the Dodge, but after 3-4 years, it's worth a lot more than the Caravan

if you need a van go for try a sienna there very reliable or if you can wait a few weeks check out the 2008 caravan/town and country. You could even try a highlander there very roomy and available in hybrid models with 7 passenger seating so you will get excellent mileage as well

RG-31 Cougar. These things are sweet, lack a few creature comforts though. Very durable!

First determine IF you need a van. The mileage is going to be somewhat lower than a car. Be sure you get a large enough engine or the van will be 'sluggish' in traffic. Most vans have 'removeable' seats rather than 'fold down' seats. Remember that vans are somewhat top heavy and won't corner like lower vehicles. The make is up to you but I like dodges. (drive one WHEN I need to use a van! Also have car, P/U, flat-bed!) "Routine" maintainence is harder on vans due to the engine compartment design. I sleep in mine when I have to, it is like a 'metal' tent; low in the roof when you stand up. I would avoid red, black and blue as these colors soak up to much heat; and white as to hard to keep clean. Hope this helps.
