Would you perfer a 2006 pontiac solstice or a 2003 nissan 350z?

Which Of These Cars Do You Like Best? Why?

  • 1999-2002 Pontiac Trans Am 2006-2007 Pontiac Solstice 2007 Pontiac GTO 2004-2007 Nissan 350Z 2006-2007 Dodge Charger 1999-2003 Chevy Corvette If anyone knows anything about any of these cars, that would be helpful. Also, tell me why a certain one is your favorite. I know i left off Mustangs and Camaros, but i don't like either of them, so if you do, you can still tell me about them, but then pick a second favorite from my list. I'm open to suggestions. Thanks

  • Answer:

I have an '84 Mercury Capri, so I am partial to the Mustangs and Camaros. But, as you've asked, here's my thoughts: Trans Am - Just like a Camaro. Solstice - Nice looking car, must go with the soft top. GTO - I have memories of the big, old GTO's. I could just never fall in love with the new look, even though it is good. 350Z - I think this car is hot. It seems to be a stronger version of the Audi TT, which is a work of art. Of all of the cars listed, this is the only one that made me do a double take the first time I saw it and go; "WOW! What is THAT!?!" Charger - This is one 60's muscle car that was re-done well. Mostly because they kept the "blocky" look of the original. Not too rounded, not too old. Very good. Bigger than the others listed. Corvette - If you can fit a 'vette into your life, it is a great decision. But it can be expensive in every way and people will think of you differently. They are great cars, but you have to have the right attitude to enjoy them. They are not a daily driver. Some (most / all) of the others are. I mean, sure, you _could_ drive a Corvette every day, but - to me - the very concept of a Corvette is that you don't need to drive it every day. The 'vette is supposed to be the "fun" car. good luck!

I have bought a new car every 3-4 years for the last 31 years. Last year instead, I bought a Corvette C5 for the same price as a cheap new car. I found most of the folks that owned them rarely drove them so they are usually like new.
