How long do 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix SE's last?

1995 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP or 1999 Pontiac Grand AM SE?

  • Grand AM: http://www.usedregina.com/classified-ad/7053119 SE,air,tilt,cruise,ac,V6,auto,Cd player, 189XXXkm Grand Prix: http://www.usedregina.com/classified-ad/7096971 3.4 DOHC, 4 spd automatic. ABS. Fully loaded with air, cruise, tilt, power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof. Black leather interior with rear buckets and console, heads up display and keyless entry. Which sounds better to buy? Or should I go with a different year of either? (Check out this link and give suggestions! http://www.usedregina.com/classifieds/all?description=pontiac+grand ) THANKS!

  • Answer:

The Grand Prix is a larger vehicle than the Grand Am, so it will use a bit more fuel. But, in Pontiac parlance, GTP lets you know that the vehicle in question is a loaded performance version. SE stands for Special Edition, but in reality, it's not that special.

Grand Prix is a much nicer car than the Grand Am, in my opinion. I'd get the Grand Prix.
