Chevy Trucks!!! Does anyone know what the "LS", "LT", and "LTZ" letters on Chevy trucks stand for???

But does anyone know what the "LS", "LT", and "LTZ" letters stand for in the truck??? I know its the type of package that the truck comes with. But what do the letters actually stand for? And where can you find out what type of LT truck you have???. I know there is 3 different types LT models (1LT, 2 LT, 3LT and of course the LTZ). But where can you tell what you have?? Its not in the owners manual.

  LT is a trim level found across the Chevrolet lineup on its cars, trucks and SUVs. LT isn't an acronym for something like “Luxury Touring” on newer models. According to a Chevrolet representative, it’s simply a code for higher-optioned trim designations. LT trims commonly have features and pricing that rank in between the base LS models and the higher-end LTZ, Sport or SS models. Some cars have two, three or even four levels of LT, named 1LT, 2LT, 3LT and 4LT, with each package having progressively more features. Let’s take a look at the Impala’s 1LT and 2LT trims: Compared to the base LS, 1LT gives you 16-inch cast-aluminum wheels, remote start, standard floor mats and an instrument cluster with additional gauges. Stepping up to the 2LT gets you a more powerful engine with active fuel management, stability control, 17-inch wheels, dual-outlet exhaust and fog lamps. There are also more options as the trim package is elevated; for example, stability control isn’t available on the 1LT — not even as an option — but comes standard on the 2LT. Call your chevy parts dept with your vehicle identification number (vin) and they can tell what option you have
