What is the best AWD car for her?

Best performance awd car under 27000?

  • I am 18 and i want to buy a new car with my own money. I want a car that is efficient on gas, but still can perform. It also doesn't have to be new and i can pay about 27000 for it. I want something that i can modify and race with on a track. Some cars i've been thinking of is a mitsubishi rally art and a subaru wrx, because these are alot cheaper to insure then the more powerful models, and I'm going to give the cars better parts then the more powerful models. I also would like a car i can drive in the winter, and i don't know if one of these cars are the best choices. Does anyone know anything better.

    Evo 7 are selling in that price range. WRX Sti, WRX maybe even a Mazda 6 Mps or Liberty B4 the latter 2 just to be different if you going to use it for weekend races I would check the kerb mass and choose the lightest one and modded for power.

Subaru Impreza Hatch... honestly unless you're going to be racing you don't need the WRX, sure it looks, sounds, and turns heads well, but it really is extra power that you don't need. But hey! You can't go wrong with a Subaru man. The Impreza hatch is affordable, looks a lot better than the sedan, and the manual handles amazing. The 4 cylinder really has enough power to do whatever you want and will win if you decide to race someone (presuming you can shift in a decently small amount of time)

If you live anywhere near Idaho someones selling a 1970 GTO with a 400 small block and 3 speed tranny for 17,000. the car is beautiful and in immaculate condition. You could find it on craigslist in nevada under reno/tahoe just type in gto in the search.

WRX or mazdaspeed 3. Don't touch the ralliart...when that transmission wears out it's going to be incredibly expensive to fix...probably 6-7k easily.

Get like a 04 wrx sti. Well under 27k, quick, looks good, plenty of mods available. I would buy one if I could afford one.
