Whats the fastest korean car in america?

Korean cars available in the US right now are only Hyundai and KIA (which are actually both the same company) the Genesis Coupe 3.8- 306HP with 0-60 in 5.8sec, 0-100 in 14.25 sec... Just makin sure u kno- Hyundai and KIA are both great cars now (mine has 300k+ miles on one and 100k+ on the other) They are dependable. EDIT: @ Walter I know GM has majority in DAEWOO Motors, but Daewoo isn't sold in USA. Aveo might be from Daewoo, but it is under the Chevy nameplate, which makes it an American brand. Same way with the Chevy Prism and Toyota Corolla long ago. they were the same car basically with same motor, etc, but the chevy is considered an American car while the Corolla is considered a Japanese car.

OH, they're ALL fast. They're so fast that they are usually the first ones to reach the salvage yards. I wish you luck on this purchase.

There are more than Hyundai and Kia in the US market. GM owns a majority of Daewoo and the Aveo sold in the US market is a Daewoo build. Fast has several possible definitions. 0-60? Quarter mile time? Top speed? I think Genesis Coupe V6 Track is probably top 0-60 and Quarter. Top speed? Equus. It competes with the German and Japanese luxo boat autobahn cruisers with big engines and high top end for cruising 120+ for long distances. A lot of models will hit a top speed limiter at about 115-120 but Equus will keep going. As far as commonly available and cheap, 2006 V6 Sonata. A rented one was clocked in a speed trap in Arizona at 147 and the actual top is a tick over 150.
