2003 Chevy Silverado V8 dies when put in gear?
-
I have been having problems with my truck I have a 2003 chevy silverado once it puts in gear it will die unless you put your foot on gas not a good thing! I can drive but when trying to accelerate it acts like its not getting gas and makes this terrible bogging noise. Anyone having the same problem or have experienced this problem don't want to fix everything because I'm a single mom unemployed due to layoff. This economy is rough. Thanks

Answer:
Probably a vacuum leak, but I can't tell you exactly where. Chevys are notorious for that; out of the four I have owned, two developed vacuum leaks. Or a clogged fuel filter or faulty fuel sending unit.
