Why do people hate fords sooooo much?

I really prefer Chevy's simply because Ford has a boring display... the blue oval is boring!! Chevy is cool with their bow tie!!! I can deck my truck out in bow ties and it looks great - mirror, dual exhaust tips, back logo sticker, you get the idea.. Ford... a boring blue oval.. not so cool. As for durability and reliability - I own a Chevy and a Ford right now - they are both about equal.

I do not understand the mentality either. All cars are made in Mexico, Brazil, Canada .. you name the country, your car has parts from there. I have owned Japanese, Chevy, fords (3) now and they are all a liability. If it has breasts or wheels they are going to give you trouble.

Okay, there are three arguments for the hatred of Ford. They are that: A) Fords are widely regarded as real gas-guzzlers. I'm not stating an opinion one way or the other, I'm just stating that the perception is there. B) Right now Republicans aren't popular. This is just a trend, you know, but it's true. As a democrat, it works to my favor. (raise the roof?) Anyway, lots of Ford truck drivers are Republicans, so maybe part of the drop in sales relates to this trend. C) Mr. Ford was a zealous believer in an anti-semitic book called the Protocols of Zion. You'll have to look it up. It's delusion. I believe he played a crucial role in the book's American circulation. I also believe that his family or his motor company were directly operating in the financial favor of the Nazi party during the war. It's a little soon to heal from something like that -- not to villify the present owners or anything. I don't know them. Still, the specter of their history is there.

Parts, availability and price. GM only has 1 design for their 350 while Ford has 3 different 351's and most parts wont interchange between the three, now I'm not saying that is a bad thing or a good thing. Also Ford got a bad rep for being hard to keep running in cold weather before warming up, but that was befor fuel injection. Ford did do one thing right, their 9 inch rear-end, nearly bullet proof and easier to work on than a GM unit.

I have a Ford, had one before, won't get one again. I want a Honda or Toyota. They last forever and are reasonably priced as far as today's prices go. I have family who have Hondas and have no problems at all.

I have owned a few Fords, they were the worst and most expensive things to work on, and I had to alot. I have had alot of Chevys, not saying they didn't break, but when they did, it was alot cheaper and easier to fix. I do like a few fords, but not enough to own one again!

We have always been a Ford family....but from here on out....we no longer will buy Ford vehicles....they actively support the homosexual agenda....if they would stay neutral...it would be different...but they are actively trying to promote their agenda and my beliefs can not embrace that. I know many will be angered by my response...but that is how I believe....I have nothing personally against homosexuals....but I can not embrace their life style. Therefore I can no longer embrace Ford's.

i do not hate fords....it's the jap cars that suuuuuuuuuuuck so bad. I'll drive anything from Europe or America but forget the worthless rice burners !!!!!!!!!!!!!
