How many miles does the Suzuki XL 7 last for?

What causes steering wheel to vibrate? I have a 2003 Suzuki XL-7, at 55 miles up steering wheel vibrates.?

  • The original tires were replaced by Firestone and wheels were balanced several times but the problem still persists and it seems getting worst. Fitsgerald Suzuki told me that there's nothing wrong with the drive train. The car has only 30,000 miles.

  • Answer:

To cause a vibration it must be a rotating item which rules out alignment. Here are the possibilities: 1. Out of balance tire, 2. Out of round tire, 3. Bent tire rim. Check around your area for a tire dealer that has a ROAD FORCE TIRE BALANCE machine.

It sounds that it may need a wheel balance, as well as puttinng air in tthe tyres. Why don't you take it to another dealer.

It is either your tires out of balance or a broken belt in a tire. Take it to a trustworthy mechanic or tire shop to get it fixed. Hope I have been helpful
