Does the Kia Soul come in automatic?

When does the kia soul'ster come out? It's so cool!?

• Its a cheap car with a great warranty is cool and has some practicallity :) I know its not packed with power but I cruise anyways :) It was in the 2009 Detroit Auto Show, but I havn't heard any details on when it will or if it will be put into production. I want one now :( Its on the kia website in concepts as well. Thanks!

  when they put it in the detroit auto show, it was just a concept. the vehicle must undergo many more tests and a body redesign before it hits the market. cars look a lot different as concept than they do as actual production vehicles and many concepts never make it to the showroom floor. i dont really see the practicality in the soul'ster because in the current situation automotive companies are in, it just wouldnt be practical to build a vehicle that looks like a beach cruiser. companies are trying to build cars that anyone can buy, and by the looks of the soul'ster, it just doesnt look practical. i think kia would have to make many more adjustments to the look of the vehicle before actually putting it on the market.
