Which is the fastest street-legal car in production? The Koenigsegg CCX or the Bugatti Veyron?

  • In the movie "Red Line", they quote "the CCX is the fastest street-legal car in the world. In Wikipedia, it says the Bugatti is the most powerful, fastest, and most expensive street-legal full production car in the world! I need a real legitimate answer here folks and with hard evidence too!

    it was the Koenigsegg CCX before- now it's the Veyron. It was launched in 2006.

used the be the Koenigsegg CCR back in 05, but Veyron beat it a couple months later. I just read your additional info. You're getting your information off "Red Line?" That's the dumbest car movie I've ever seen. Do some research, holy crap. *EDIT.. its not CCX! ITS CCR!!!
