    yep GTI is just more sport tuned then the golf. if u want a good hatch got with the VW R32. its the awd version with even better tuned system.

The GTI is a sportier version of the Golf. It has more horsepower, a stiffer suspension and better brakes, just to name a few upgrades. If you're looking for a "hot hatch," it and the Mazdaspeed 3 are the best in that category according to the many comparison reviews I've read. However, if having a few thousand more bucks in the bank is more important to you than a car that's a few seconds faster to sixty, then go for one of the cheaper versions, the Golf or Mazda 3.
