Air cooled vw rebuild kit?

What is the brand name on the kit, JCW usually uses decent names when dealing with VW junk.The website wont load right, but usually you can get a set of 87mm jugs and pistons for less than $150. I wouldn't go much over the 87-88 mm sets, they tend to overheat. More than likely the bottom end is ok, the cases rarely needs work, so save your money unless you wanna go real hot! Just grind the valves, pop the top end on it, and drive the heck out of it. Just make sure you rejet the stock carb or go with a 2bbl setup! Most of the kits are made in Mexico or Brasil, Empi is always good, but they usually dont cost too much, but ya got to figure you are getting 4 jugs and pistons, rings and circlips. They don't use gaskets, but the teflon buttons instead of the circlips to hold the pistons on work great!
