Where is the transmission for a beetle 2000?

Anyone know what kind of oil and transmission fluid a 2000 Volkswagen Beetle would take?

    Its not like any other ATF, use the VW ATF about 15buck a litre and by the way, you yourself probably cant check it or add it. If you want to service it which you may not need to unless you have more than 100k miles, then go to the dealer or independent vw shop to do. good luck
