Vw polo tinted windows factory?

• hi i was wondering if a 1.4 polo when bought new come with a tinted windows?..this is because when i bought my car second hand the person selling it told me it was factory tints therefore i assumed that it come out of the factory like this therefore meaning it is road legal? however i was stopped by the police and was told other!.. they said that these are not factory tints and was did not come out of the factory like this..the tints was not dark at all..jus a very light shade of black...afterwards the police made me rip off the tints or get a fine and points deducted!..so can you help me if i was right that the vw polo come out of the factory with tinted glass? thanks people!...

  The factory does not put tint on glass by a film that you can remove. Factory tint is a dye they put in the molten glass when it is manufactured. You were misled by the person who sold you the car. Take the tint film off your windows to prevent being stopped again.
