What battery does a 2003 jetta have?
-
I have a Vr6 and i replaced the battery today the only problem is: the battery doesn't fit properly. Two different people at the auto parts store told me its the right kind. It is clearly not. The car starts now I just cant put the covers over the battery properly. Should I call the dealer and ask?

Sometimes the group of the battery may closely match the original battery but in the case of that Jetta the battery in the left front has the fuse and connector holder right above it with a plastic cover. I find the interstate batteries are a perfect fit and you can still get that black shield over it.
