How much will it cost to change a 2001 beetles headlights?

    If you are fixing crash damage, that is a great deal. From autozone they are $210 each. As earlier suggested, you may want to research headlight cleaners. There are plenty of cleaners out there for 10-20 dollars that will give your lens a lasting shine, but if you don't mind repeated efforts, you can use toothpaste for a whole lot cheaper.

Sorry but that price sounds crazy bec the bulbs are only 20-30 bucks a piece although like any headlight bulb there are other bulbs available that are brighter and more expensive.In fact there are replacement headlights for as little as 8 bucks or less.Even if you added labour fees the whole job shouldn't be anymore then around 100-150 bucks tops. Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way if you don't know how to change them and it's not much work plus you purchase the headlights from them most parts stores will change them for just the cost of the parts or for very little extra.The Silver Star S1 ST are brighter then the normal replacement bulbs and run all in all about 50 bucks including taxes at Auto zone but again I suggest to shop around bec other places could be cheaper.

Based on that price I assume you want to replace the entire headlight, not just the bulb. $300 is right on. They are $150 each from ECS Tuning. http://www.ecstuning.com/Volkswagen-New_Beetle--1.8T/Lighting/Headlights/ However, if you want to replace them because they are faded or yellowing, a bunch of companies make products now to help you polish or wet-sand the lenses to make them like new again.
