My vw gti 1.8T seems to lose power in 3rd and 4th gear?
-
when i am cruising along and stick it in 3rd gear and gun it, it seems hesitant. it will go good and then lose power and then it will do it again. i dont think that anything is wrong with my car i just think that its like a governor kicking in. i was wondering if there is anything i can do to get the full power out of my car?

Answer:
Yes you can, you can have your tranny removed and have it regeared to the same 5:11 as your first and second gears. Other than that, install an alluminum flywheel, change out your cam gear, and cam, and if you want full power of those gears. Install a supercharger
