How can I make a journal out of scrap?

I want to know can i make a bug car from scrap...!?

    Had a few Bugs that were put together from several. Gotta have a decent pan to start from, tho. The tube chassis is a good idea, but you've gotta engineer it well. Tough part is getting the rear suspension arms in the right place, & putting the front beam at the right angle.

You can make a buggy from a scrap bug and a bunch of round tubing. But currently you can not buy enough sheet metal to weld togather a complete bug. Or you can buy a couple of junk bugs and turn them into one solid one. I helped a friend do this but damn it was a ton of work. So just buy a decent looking one that runs so you can enjoy it more.

yes- the VW bug is so simple, you can practically build one from scratch. but i myself wouldn't build one unless i had the body and the pan. and yes, it is going to be a lot of hard labour, but it's all worth it in the end. I mean simple as in there isn't a lot to a bug. i like "thechaleman"s idea, too, about buying some junk ones and using their parts. right now i'm trying to get my dad to take me to a junk yard for the very reason of getting one and giving it a makeover, and i'm only 14!! (oh, yeah, only about 2 years 'till my permit!!)
