Where to find a VW Golf or Bettle RSI mottor for sale in the USA?

• Im wondering how i can find a RSI VW motor and get it shipped to the us, ive been looking on ebay and Google but i cant find it....where can i possibly find one?

  You won't source one here because those models were never available here...you'll need to either: A.) Find an importer which keeps said stock on hand (which is not very likely) B.) Source one from over seas and pay an astronomical shipping cost plus import taxes Also keep in mind that each of these RSi models were limited to around 250 units (if i remember correctly), so finding the car PERIOD (much less its drivetrain separated from the car) will be a fairly difficult task. ...and to be honest, for the amount of money you're going to spend, you could have an incredible BUILT usdm VW motor with more horsepower, and you'd probably still had money left over to do suspension improvements all around. I know it's the VW community way to be "different" or "unique", but sourcing an RSi motor is going to be difficult and WAY too expensive to be worth your while here in the states.
