Where to buy a roof rack for my Honda Civic?

Where can I buy a roof rack base for my 1992 VW Golf GTI?

• I just bought a 1992 VW Golf GTI, and I like to go camping in the summer time. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about roof racks for this car. I know nothing about roof racks, so I am not sure where to start. I know I need a base for the roof racks, but do not know where to get one. I want to put the ones that are one the side of the car and then have bars going across on top of that. I am also looking for a basket to put on top, but I have found plenty of those. If you could just tell me what kind would be good for my little car that would be awesome. I also have a sunroof, but it slides back inside the car so It would not really bother it. But I did not want the roof rack directly on top of the sunroof, so if you have any pointers on that, that would also be awesome. I am sorry I am so picky, but thanks for your guys help before hand. Why is it that most of the car I see do not have the side cars, they just have the ones that go across? Are cars not capable of holding the side bars? Am I dreaming too big?
