I can't decide whether to get a vw passat sedan or jetta sedan. What do you think I should get?

I've driven a Jetta for the last 8 years. 116,000 miles and still kicking like new. But the Passat is certainly a nicer car. It will end up costing you more, though. The Passat is larger than the Jetta, although a 2004+ Jetta has a new body style that has given it considerably more room inside. If you look at a new Jetta and Passat side by side, the Passat has more attention to detail: nicer finish, tighter fit, higher quality materials, more comfortable seats. It is assembled and finished in Germany. The Jetta is assembled in Mexico. The price difference was the deciding factor for me. I like both cars (and of course, leaned toward the Passat), but I couldn't justify the price of the Passat in my budget. Yes, my Jetta is a TDI. 46-50 MPG and no major problems with maintenance.

Volkswagen is good engineering and technology rolled into one. If you're looking for reliability and ease of maintenance then you're on the right track with VW.

Don't buy anything that uses diesel fuel. Period.

Get the Passat.Its bigger and you never hear someone say,"Man I wish I would have bought a SMALLER car," but I would often hear I wish I had more room,should have bought the bigger car.

Passat they are nicer than the jettas and a little bigger too,. If you have a family or might have one in the future whenn you still have this care get the passat because the back is a little bigger. Even if a family is not in the future, the Passat still has more room in the back. Either way they're both great cars.
