Does anyone know how to unbuckle the back seat belt in Toyota Rav4?

Where is the speaker for the no seat belt sensor in a '07 Toyota Matrix?

  • Hi, My parents recently bought a 2007 Toyota Matrix and it has the most annoying beeping alarm that goes off if your not wearing a seat belt. Does anyone know how to disarm this or where the location of the speaker is so I can cut the F$@!ing wire?? Thanks.

Newer vehicles incorporate the speaker into part of the computer system. There is no wire to just cut. You just need to wear your seat belt, it's the law.

Wear your seat belt. it's not 1980 anymore. and its NOT cool to not wear it. if you're goign to do anything, go to an auto wrecker, cut off a seat belt end with the metal bit on it, and pocket it, then click it into the receptacle, so the belt thinks its always engaged.... but you'd have to be a 'tard to do that.

Its there for your safety. Please obey the law. If its malfunctioning when you have the seatbelt on, take it to the dealership.
