Which toyota car is better 2008 avalon, corolla, or camry?

  • this will be my first car and i wonder which would be best. i Absolutely know nothing about cars, but i want something that is conferable, reliable, and it wouldn't Hurt if it looked nice too. and a typical price range would help if you could provide that. thank you.

    You have many more questions to ask yourself first. How many people will ride in it? The Avalon is the most comfortable for 5. How much gas mileage do you expect? The Corolla will get 35, Camry 30, Avalon 28. How much driving will you need to do? All are dependable but each has a different level of creature comforts - e.g. heated seats, bluetooth, CD player, sound system, etc. How much insurance can you afford? Get quotes for each car from your agent. As far as price, go to www.edmunds.com to see what these cars are going for in your area. There are multiple model levels so it's impossible to give any figure.

It amazes me that anyone would still buy one of these year model Toyotas. all three are guaranteed to have had acceleration recalls, and these recalls are NOT guaranteed to fix these defective accelerators. Please, for your own safety, reconsider. Also all Toyotas from 2003 through 2010 are guaranteed to have big time value drops at trade in time because of this.

The Avalon is the nicest. The Camry is the next nicest. The Corolla is the next nicest. All are excellent cars and you will do well with any of them. I would stay away from the 2008 Corolla since that was the last year of the old body style. If you want the Corolla then get the 2009 Corolla.

Some people answered the question wrong. None of these cars are nicer than the other one each depends on what you want in a car. The avalon is the biggest , however this doesn't make it the nicest. In terms of size the avalon is the largest, then the camry, then the corolla. However, this reflects on fuel economy because the corolla is the best(26/35), then the camry(22/23), and avalon(20/29) is the worst. Also toyota makes reliable cars so any choice will be good.
