How install a car cd player?

  • ive never installed a new cd player but im gonnna do it now so far ive removed my old cd player. now im trying to wire the cd player to the wire harness ive searched every where to find a wire harness that fits but no luck. i heard i could use electric tape instead and connect them is that possible and does \it make a big difference. one more thing anyone know what wires go with which. i got no help guide with it thanks

    go to your local car parts or car audio specialist. And you need a connector plug. cant remember the actual name now. but basically it converts all the millions of wires from the car into one plug that will fit into the back of your stero. there about a tenner and so much easier then actually wiring it. So go buy one now, and pump it up!

If you have basic understanding of electricity you should be able to connect (install) a cd player. If not, then there nothing here really that can help you. As for electric tape, no get a wire crimper set (sold at Sears and Radio Shack). Using electric tape will surely invite more problems few weeks after installation. Good Luck...
