Are you happy with your Toyota Tundra?

Front and rear lockers for a Toyota Tundra price?

  • I would really like to get a 2007 Toyota Tundra Crew Max, but i also want to be able to go fairly hard off roading. But i have always heard that there are some problems with the Tundra that makes it not so good off road. So i was wondering: 1: Is the Tundra good off road stock? 2: How much would it cost to put lockers on a Tundra? 3: Is there any thing else to put on to make it better, and how much would that cost? If i get a Tundra, i would automatically put a big grille guard on and some skid plates (if it doesn't come with the skid plates when i buy it), and probably a 4 inch lift (should it be more for off roading?). So those things don't need to be put down.

  • Answer:

Well first off I would not do hard cor off roading in a tundra. There are many issues with it. Its a great truck to tow things but not really made to do hardcore 4x4ing. I would go with a tacoma, 4runner or FJ for more offroading plus there are way more options to put on these vehicles to make them more off road capable. My suggestion is by a Tundra and then buy a older toyota as a beater lile a 1st gen 4runner or a pickup where you can beat the crap out of it and then trailer it home in your nice tundra. I have a 2009 tundra and I trailer my 85 4runner all the time. Hit up ttora.com for some more options
