What Wrong With The Car Toyota Corolla 1996? Need Help?

  • Well the car won't start unless it gets jumped......but even then when i get the car running...and a start driving..sometimes all of a sudden the car will die in the middle of the street and it has to be jumped again... What needs to be fixed?...does it need a new battery? or is it more to the problem?

    Same thing happened to me but I had a Nissan Sentra. It was the alternator and my battery had to be replaced. Make sure you get it fixed asap, this is very dangerous.

sounds like an alternator. you'll probably need a new battery too.

I would replace the alternator and the battery if one goes bad it can take out the other . but first have someone perform a electrical load test to see what the alternator is putting out.
