AWD on Toyota Matrix 2009?

2009 Toyota Matrix S AWD or FWD?

  • I'm looking into purchasing a new Matrix S (already did my research, please no criticism on the car). I have the option to get AWD or FWD, but not sure which I should get. I do live in colorado, so not sure if that means I should get the AWD. I am willing to pay the extra if it is better. Also, I can't decide if I should get the super white or the black. I am geting the windows tinted, and I love the way a white car looks with tinted windows, but I also love the black. Any thoughts? Thanks!

    I have a black awd drive car and this is what I think... Go for the awd its well worth it... Don't get black, it scratches easy and its very hard to keep clean. Although I have owned a lot of black cars haha. Good luck

i'd go with AWD. we have a pontiac vibe (same car, different name) and it is kind of squirrelly in snow. We don't typically drive in snow much, but it's the poorest FWD car I've ever owned in snow. other than that, love the car. best overall car I've ever owned. 85k, have replaced a dome light.
