What are the seasonal changes in the tundra?

2011 Tundra, when tow/haul mode is selected, what actually changes?

  • there is no obvious difference in shifting etc etc, the owner's manual does not specify

Tow/Haul changes the shift points in the transmission so that each gear holds longer. It also quickens your throttle response. The advantage is that if you are hauling a trailer you won't have to shift as often and you'll have a little more power.
