What was the last year Toyota Landcruisers had a manual transmission?

What to do with a 2006 Corolla on 3rd Transmission.?

  • My 2006 Corolla CE is on it's 3rd automatic transmission now. It's got just a shade under 40,000 miles. When the transmission failed the first time in april of 2007 I filed a complaint with toyota regarding the reliability of my car. They gave me a 7 year, 100,000 mile warranty. Since then i've had a broken flywheel & now another transmission being replaced. My case manager asked what i wanted to do. I have no clue what to do. Obviously this car is not gonna last me 5 years unless I stop driving it. I'm wondering what to do. Is it too much to ask for them to pay this one off and give me my original down payment on a new Toyota?

  • Answer:

Definately get out of that car. Depending on what state you live in you may be able to get it covered under a lemon law. Usually if you have to have the same problem repaired 3 times within a certain time frame the company has to replace the car by law. Toyota used to be an incredibly reliable car company, but I have heard a lot of bad news about them lately. It seems like their new priority is on selling as many cars as possible, not the best cars possible. Same problem all the American car companies had. Get a Honda - I think they are still good.

Well it's good that he ask you "What You Want to Do!" Find out what he will offer you! Does it sound Reasonable to you? is that what You Want To Do? "Remember there is Still he 'Lemon Law' in These cases!!" NOTE; "Your Question Isn't Unreasonable!!" "The Object is to Make The Customer Happy!!" (He Ask and Offered!!) ASK!! Good Luck!

damn, that sux about your corolla. my sis has a 04 model and no problems. I suggest the lemon law thing. You might even get more money out of it than what your car is worth (when you bought it.)

No they will not give money back or payoff your car. sounds like you do not know how to drive or maintain vehicle. You could have went lemon law but it sounds like you are not driving good.
