What is the weight limit or a toyota corolla?

1996 toyota corolla max hauling weight ?

  • i have a 1996 toyota corolla dx with 1.8L 105 HP. i wanted to buy a tent trailer and hook it up to my small car but i am worried it would be to much for the car, what do you think?

  • Answer:

A Corolla is really not meant to haul or tow things. The small engine and transmission are not really equipped to handle much more than the weight of the car and a full load of passengers. Toyota does not even make a towing kit for a Corolla. If you wanted to put a hitch ball on the car just so you can tow a small trailer, you'd have to cut the bumper to get an attachment point on the car's frame.

reese hitch #77005 class 1 hitch 2000lbs/200 tounge weight wire harness 20251 converts seperate blinker/brake car lights to trailer lights or go to u-haul dealer. if you do get a trailer keep it small 4x8 is a good size.
