Can you adjust the steering wheel on a toyota sienna?

Toyota steering wheel--something loose inside?

  • The steering wheel on my 2007 Camry LE with 29K feels as if there is something, like a cable(?), sliding around INSIDE it. (Not a wobble or vibration OF the steering wheel caused, for example, by improperly aligned or balanced tires.) I most frequently get this condition when turning the steering wheel, oftentimes when braking, and sometimes when tapping the accelerator. Occasionally I get the condition when turning the steering wheel while the car is in park and thus not even moving. I have not yet noticed problems with steering, breaking, or accelerating, but the sensation that something is sliding around INSIDE the steering wheel is disconcerting

  • Answer:

You have a Dash rattle had the same exact problem on my 07 Tundra. Toyota issued a TSB about the problem and I took my truck in and got the issue repaired. BUT I was within my 3year/36K warranty. If your outside of this warranty you will have to pay out of pocket or just deal with the noise. Theres nothing wrong just something in there rattling I asked the Toyota Specialist what it was and he wouldnt comment on the issue. Go figure Toyota. First see if there is a TSB out for your camry
