What is the weight limit or a toyota corolla?

I have a 97 Toyota corolla manual says to use 5 w 30 weight the car has 110,000 miles what weight can i use?

  • Answer:

use the 5W 30...change it regularly...no more is necessary for the engine just focus on the fuel and emissions components...have your throttle body cleaned and get an injector service...those little suckers are expensive and they need regular maintenance...go to a dealership and get an injector service and an induction service

Stick to the same factory recommendation. My 94 Civic has 187K miles and I still follow the factory recommendation (and still runs like new). Good Luck...

5w 30 is to thin of a oil go by what the manual says and the motor will not last as long as it should i would recommend valvoline 10w 30 and lucas stabalizer it is a great product and is great for your motor it will last a lot longer diane

CONTINUE TO USE THE FACTORY RECOMMENDED 5W30.YOU CAN USE HIGH MILEAGE OIL IF DESIRED BUT STICK TO THE SAME WEIGHT.BY THE WAY,110000 MILES IS NOT TOO MANY MILES FOR A 97 COROLLA.
