2003 Toyota Camry XLE Smoke?
-
I am looking to buy a 2003 toyota camry and I found one the other day, when the dealer started the car there was a moderate amount of grey smoke is that normal for a car that has probably sat there three weeks or should that raise a flag?

Answer:
I can assure you that no dealer lets a car sit for 3 weeks never starting it. It has been started several time a week all by people that saw the smoke and wisely skipped the car like you should do. It is normal for Toyota since the valve seals on Toyota engines fail easily but it also means a valve job is due that will cost about $1,200.
