Change a gauge cluster in a 1996 Toyota Corolla to a cluster that has an RPM gauge in it...?

I have a 1996 Toyota Corolla DX. Its automatic but i would like to know if i could get a gauge cluster from a manual Corolla so that i would have a RPM gauge when i swap the tranny out for a manual. Another reason i want to do this is because there are many aftermarket white face gauges for the manual gauge cluster and not the automatic. the automatic has three gauges...one large for the speedometer and two smaller ones for the water temp and the fuel gauges. the manual has two big gauges for the speedometer and rpm and two small gauges for the gas and water temp. I would like to change from the auto to the manual but my only question is if the gauge cluster would plug up with the wires from the auto or if i would have to re-wire it or not. If anyone knows if they would be a plug-and-play kind of thing that would be great or what would i have to do to the wires to make it work. i would believe that the wires would be the same for both but i just want to make sure before i buy...

The Tach was an option then. It is plug and play. Just taking some of the dash off to get to it. Many aftermarket places and eBay has many of them for sale.

It would probably be plug and play, but don't quote me on this. All that hassle for some silly white gauges?

i would keep what i have and add a after market tac gauge on the dash. yes it would have to be rewired and i do not think they would be plug and play.
