How much would I get for a 97 Toyota Corolla?

What can i do to a 97 toyota corolla to get some more hp and a faster 0-60?

• i have a 97 corolla and i dont want to race it, however i would like to add a little "oomf" in the engine to make it sound alot better, and to improve my 0-60 time, right now the manual sets it at 10.23 seconds, i know its a litltle faster than that, but id set it at like 8 seconds, its a 1.6 liter if that helps at all...thanks i also have myspace if you would like to get ahold of me on there myspace.com/awaldtcorey thanks

  Lighten up your car: remove all junk and items that are not needed Intake: get some kind of cold air induction/ram intake system Exhaust: get some decent equal length ceramic coated headers, racing cat and mandrel bent free flow cat back exhaust system. Lastly make sure your injectors are clean and your spark plugs are in good shape. Doing all correctly, should gain you 10-20+ hp and 5-10+ torque. You'd also probably get 1 mpg better on gas.
