How much money do toyota sales people make?

• i recently was offered a job at a toyota dealership for a sales position. they pay 20% commision plus bonuses and spiffs. its a great location with a 6 salesperson team per shift. how much money should i expect to make there in the next year? anyone worked at one before? any advice? Also, what are the employee discounts?

  i make 30 percent of the gross at a toyota dealership, on both new and used. the money is in the volume of sales. we have five salespeople. four of us average between 16 and 20 cars a month. we have all been there ten years or more. newest salesman(4 mos) is selling around 8 to 10 a month. its all knowledge based to. toyota buyers are some of the most informed buyers out there. it takes time to build your pipel;ine up. i get about 5- 8 orders a month, i work the internet heavily and hammer on referrals and repeats. i work very very hard at keepin things going. i usually make more on the used cars, there is more gross there to get paid.......ive never been below 65k a year, and ive topped 100k once. good selling.
