How to make an 06 Civic faster?

I have an '06 scion xb, how do i give it more horsepower and make it go faster?

  I see you really got no answers that were going to help, so I will take a stab at it, being that I too own an 06 Xb. I did not go with the Fujita system for a couple of reasons. One it was not a factory option, (which here in Kalivornia makes a difference). I have the K&N Cold Air Intake System. I made a definate improvement. I also changed the exhaust system, and used a system from G-Reddy. This too worked out quite well. What I have not done is, (like my Tc), change the external appearance of the vehicle mainly because I don't like attracting unwanted attention from Law Enforcement and other KNOT HEADS that just want to be fools! The last thing I did was yank the tranny, and have them install a taller 5th gear for the highway. I also changed the wheels out to 17's. I had one of the local import shops do the tranny work, (Akimoto Racing). So now instead of the engine turning 3700 RPM at 70 MPH the engine is only turning over at 2200 RPM and getting better gas milage too. As for faster, there is only so fast you really want to go in these little boxes, and if you are looking to compete with the new Xb or the Tc's forget it. These were designed for cruising, not Rally Competition, (unfortunately). I do have the factory lowering springs installed, but changed over to KYB Shocks to give it a little more stiffness in the corners. Also the suspension bushings have been changed out for the ones made by Energy Suspension. Another improvement that these could have used from the factory. Good Luck, I hope that helps you out.
