2008-09 Scion TC VS Honda Civic Si?

first off i cant give you an honest opinon as to which is better. the only civic i owned was a 96 dx. it was fun- but i blew the engine. i currently own an 05 tc, 5spd. i love it. it reliable, very good design, quality construction by Toyota, and inexpensive. that saying a lot considering the way i drive it. neither of these are fast cars- they are quick but bot fast. the Tc has more torque than the civic, which gives it a nice launch, but the civic makes more high end (for highway racing....) im pretty rough on my baby- i drive 100mph+ daily, slide, burnout, jump it, whatever you can think of. i beat it. and it still goes strong. the civics are nice too, honda is a reliable name, but im not crazy about how the new civic look, except for the Mugen models, but i doubt your going to spend to get your hands on a JDM civic..... both are great commuter cars as they get decent mileage. if you work less than 10 miles from home, they'll prob work good for you. the scion advertises 22 city, 29 highway (less in real life cuz they're so much fun to drive) and i imagine the civic is close to that. stick or auto? thats a personal preference. if your lazy and only drive to get to your destination, then i suggest auto. if your into the driving "experience" i say stick. if youve never driven stick before, it will take getting used to, but its awesome. have a friend teach you. if your looking at these sorts of cars, i suggest getting stick, once you learn to drive manual, its very fun. message me if you want more info. good luck
