2008-2009 Scion TC Vs 2006 Honda Civic Si?

1) both are reliable cars, just do the basic maintenance and you'll be fine. engines/cars should last you well over 100,000 miles. just be sure to do the regular maintenance every couple thousand miles and you'll be okay. scion tc = 161 hp civic si = 197 hp obviously, the si will be faster than a stock tc, so technically its not really even a fair comparison performance wise. 2) i personally don't like the civic si's interior. the dashboard is too big, and i really don't like the digital display with only an analog rpm gauge showing. i like the traditional speed gauge and rpm gauge. also the backseat of the si feels squished and not very comfortable. 3) yes, just don't drive them hard and they'll give you good gas mileage. FYI, civic si uses premium gas, tc uses regular unleaded. tc gas will be cheaper. 4) scion tc, i like the design better + the engine is boost friendly so if i wanted to go turbo i could without having to do too many upgrades. not so with the si, since the si's compression ratio is so high. i also like the tc's interior, gas mileage and its ability to be customized with fairly cheap mods. plus, i just like toyota's better. 5) like driving, you'll need to learn how to drive a manual. its not hard, just requires practice. its better because when you're driving, it'll feel like a videogame.

if u have to ask these kinds of questions, i dont think u should be driving either car
