    If your in the US there not illegal. Apart from looking at local import companies stock list,classifieds in Japanese car mags,sites like autotrader.then its. Is it possible to get one from Canada.If your not that way on. If there is not a company that will import it for you,worth ringing or mailing import companies to see if a company will do this for you. Try searching or asking on http://www.skylineowners.com/forum/index.php There is loads of International owners on there And loads from the US whom have bought ones there and ones that have imported them.So worth asking as They had to get there's from somewhere and will know the path to take and cost involved. It may be worth looking at the GTS-T version also as will be less to buy so will save money at the start.And these single turboed versions can still be modded to GTR specs and power and have the fun of RWD against the GTR AWD. All the Skyline range are legends and great addictive fun and have won races the world over and a fun head turning drive. Cost wise will depend on where you live and if you have to import it and the cost to meet regs where you are.As said try on the forums and see what others have paid where you are from. As waiting for the new GTR it will more then likely be cheaper to import one.And why miss the fun of the older Skylines. If all else fails and your struggling let me know my friend in Japan is selling one and may send it. One otherthing if you do think about importing one it may be worth asking other country import companies apart from Japan as the Skyline is used in loads of countries.4 in my town and 11 in the next where i live.

Srry to crush your dreams homie but if your in the US, they are illegal, but there is a company in LA that has earned special privliages you could say, and the import Skyline and make them legal for US roads. Heres the website that is for a company that does it. The car cost like 80k + but if you got the money you can import a engine from japan and install it

Alot in the US around $75000-$85000 then if you are in the UK its $70000-up sweet ride not worth it in the US unless you race like everyday

there use to be a place in Sacramento, CA that sells nothing but skylines. The GTR R33 usually runs from $80,000 that has less than 20,000 km. They moved and also changed their name. They will take care of smog and everything else.

There is a new one coming out in the U.S in the Spring of 2008. You can go to the Nissan site to view it. You can also go to www.worldcarfans.com and it gives you an idea of what it is going to look like, get all the info you want on it and cost...standard around $57,000.00....V SPEC $67,000.00 and the EVO version looks to be roughly $94,000.00 It is a very sharp car.
