  • Answer:

First picture stock bulb fits into the lamp and spring clip holds it in. Second bulb runs with a High voltage transformer may or may not fit properly. Last week a altima came in with a bulb out the bulb did not fit properly bulb slipped back and melted the headlight housing the rear round bulb covers were missing. The wife of the owner (stationed overseas) brought in the car expecting a free warranty bulb. Boy was she mad when we told her $600 to repair what her husband had done. And the other side was the same bulb loosley installed not clipped in.. HID'S run very hot but produce a bluish white light draw less power than a tungsten filiment 15/20 watts vs 75 / 85 up to 100 watts. So be careful install the transformers carefully remove the bumper cover so you can do a clean install. Good Luck
