How to program a CAN-BUS arduino shield to control car windows?

Does anybody know if the 2009 Nissan Murano allows you to control windows even with car off?

  • I have a 2009 Nissan Murano, which is a push start. Having the push start, I CANNOT control my windows, radio or ac when the car is off. The traditional way to turn on a car with a key allowed me to do all those without turning the car on as I can turn it about half way and have the power to turn them on. In the owners manual, it says nothing about any of that except when I turn my car off, I can control the windows for 45 seconds. Once those 45 seconds are up, I would have to turn the car back on again to control the windows. Please, does anybody have another way to control the windows without having to turn the car on? Thanks in advance.

If you dont press the break pedal and just push the button until it displays "on". then you can listen to your radio and mess with whatever option you need to.

Accessory posistion can be reached by pressing the start button once with out pressing the brake with your I key in car. Does you car have rubber push buttons on your door handles? Or do you need to insert the i Key into the slot to activate the start button? Many of the features like walk away timer can be adjusted on higher end models in settings screen of the navigation screen. There is a booklet (Owners Manual) I must stress it needs to be read on complicated cars like yours to understand all of your Murano's features and how to work with them.
