What fuel octane does a 2003 Nissan Xterra supercharged SUV use?

Just bought this car and it did not come with any manuals. it says "to get maximum performance use premium gasoline" but it does not list any octane level. don't wanna miss treat the engine or supercharger or anything of that matter so what should i use to be safe

Any fuel above 91 octane will work however name brand fresh fuel will work better.

Like it says use the best gas you can , the engine will adapt to protect itself , at the expense of performance .

use premium, longer life on your injectors, and just a cleaner choice all around. big deal if it costs maybe a couple dollars extra per fill-up. and your supercharger will not be affected by your choice of fuel.
